Thumbs up Lucent & the X74 Install

WOW!!!
Is Pretty much the only word that comes to mind right now.
Arling& Tom are incredible.
I spent a few hours at Lucent yesterday having my X74 suspension installed.
Tom handled this install like he was changing motor oil, these guys are just amazing.
The shop is off the hook!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
As far as the X74, another incredible transformation.
It just feels right now, the car sticks to the road and corners with zero body roll.
Ride is firmer but not harsh...and a nice added bonus is the ride height, much better and very GT3ish....which is why the GT3 nose conversion is next.
Also it was nice to meet another 6speeder who happened to be at the shop. TurboRon

Arling and Tom really go the extra mile for their customers. I am sooooo glad we have them close by, otherwise where would I take my car?

Well I did'nt take to many before shots!!
Who wants to look at a Cayenne anyway?
The car is almost where I want it to be, but it needs the nose makeover badly.
So,I think I will post some shots right after that.
I did have a chance to hit a few twisties this moring early when the roads were quiet and all I can say is OMG!!!
Now my foot will be in the pedal even more so than before....yeehhaaa

Looks great!

BTW - how do you like that Evo intake? Have you noticed real gains? or is it more sound than anything?

Thanks, I just got back from another run in the car, it really is an awesome difference between the factory suspension and the X74!!
I have been asked the question about the"evo intake mod"a number of times.
My answer is always the same!
Hell yes I felt a difference, much better throttle response for sure.
I think 3 mods do make a difference on a non turbo car, they are:intake, exhaust and chip, I did all 3 and I am very happy with the results, next step would be a super charger, but I really think I'd rather just step up to a turbo....maybe a GT2(i like rear wheel drive)...before I'd spend 10k on a S/C system.

Keith,
it was nice meeting u as well. thanks for the long drive to us. now the car handles the way it should be!

btw, i forgot to ask u what's ur honest opinion on the Vette compare to ur C2. there's tons discussion between those 2 cars & people always have different thoughts. i've never had a chance to drive the Vette so i shouldn't comment it. it'd be interesting to hear from a Vette owner's view on Porsche.
