I actually like my front plate... For a daily driver, I wouldn't skip it. It's like an extra guard against stuff hitting the car. If my car was occasional use... then I would have have gone no front plate on a car...
Funny story, I was about 17 or 18 in my yellow 930Slant back in the late 80's I was coming out of a club with some friends and got pulled over for no front licence plate when the cop was behind me. I'm reminded of it a lot by my friends whenever meet up and my "wilder" days comes into conversation.

Yea I agree, I would love to take off my front plate, but the cops don't need another excuse to pull you over. I live and work locally and I am sure I would get a warning the first time, but then they could so easily drive by and check. It is not worth it.
