Not the Porsche, but have used the Auto Train in the past with good results. If I were in need to ship the Porsche I would hire a specialty carrrier that caters to exotics.

phantom works is infamous around these parts
I work for BNSF Railway and Porsche used to ship new cars by train out of the port of San Diego. Quite a sight to see a whole lot full of brand new 911's waiting to be loaded up for transit.
