The motor in my 996 blew last week. Before you do anything, take a deep breath and then call Jake Raby. That has been suggested in prior posts but really go do it. Even if you can't afford his rebuild, I couldn't, it's worth picking his brain. There is no better out there than Jake.

sorry to hear that, My car kinda had the same fate and we both have 996 Mk1 Aeros in silver.... LOL

PM me and i can send you to a shop about an hour away from you that can get you fixed up. My engine is with them right now and i'll be shipping my car up there in about a month to get my lil project 996 monster put together.
