I'm not posting in the for sale forum yet because I don't have the lid sitting here ready to ship. It's at the body shop, where they are installing my 997 front end and ducktail lid.

The GT3 lid came with my car, and is in good condition. I am unable to determine if it is OEM or aftermarket. I will look into how to determine this. My car has the AERO 2 front, sides and rear, and those parts all turned out to be OEM Porsche parts, not fiberglass copies.

Anyway, lets assume it's an FRP copy. I see Getty selling them for $1500.

I see jokers trying to sell the authentic OEM Porsche lids for $3800+ on ebay, but it looks like they've been trying for a while.

What's a reasonable asking price for a used FRP lid, and a used OEM lid? Anyone sold or bought one before?

I also have OEM Xenon MKII headlights, which will probably just get ebayed to the highest bidder, but if anyone has input on those, that would be appreciated as well.

 

OEM Lid is FRP as well. Did you see any engraved part #'s that had "996xxxxxxx" on the underside?



As for price, I think you would sell it fairly quickly between 1k-1500. Over 2k you're probably gonna have to sit on it for awhile.
