2 Beeps when driving at low speeds
I have a weird issue, when driving 15-20 I kept hearing 2 beeps that sounds like the seat belt beep, I'm the only one in the car and I have my seat belt on, there are no lights on my dash and everything seems normal, temp, oil, etc. when I drive faster or on the fwy the beeps go away until I exit or slow down to 15mph, I never hear of this issue and the beeps are driving me crazy, I even tried to buckle the empty seat belt but it still beeps, I drive a 99 996 Cab. Can anyone help?

Sounds like the warning tone for an open hatch. It will only come on at low speeds when you pass a certain MPH (don't remember what speed exactly). Either your front or rear hatch is open or the sensor for them is broken. Or you may have the same issue I did that nobody else will be able to help you with. Do you have memory seats by chance?

I would say someone has set the speed alarm to 15 mph, but you will usually have a picture in the instrument cluster that will show up I'm fairly certain. The intent of the speed alarm is so it can keep you from speeding (by setting the alarm to go off at the speed limit), or so you can hit a target speed, like 100mph, without having to look at the speedometer. Have you recently had the car serviced ?

After reading the owners manual and all your post. The Speed Gong was set at 15mph, don't know how it was set that way, maybe my kids go in my car but I reset it and it's gone now, thx for everyone's advice
