Can factory seat sliders be reused for bucket seats? Looking to get a pair of Recaro Pole position + bracket. Then reusing the stock sliders.

I've seen it on some forums but need to make sure.

Some may be confused as it comes with bucket seats.

Some here may know, or opine, but Recaro would be where I would check for the accurate answer.

Do you know or do you not know? I mean that's the question. Seems like you're telling me that as if no one here has ever done a race bucket seat such as Recaro or the GT3 bucket seats.

Nope. You can't reuse the OEM seat sliders with the Recaro SPG's (which as I recall have a similar mount style as the GT3 buckets.

FWIW, I used to have a set of your typical riceroni Sparco's as well and they needed their own sliders and mount plate.

Conceptually based on how I remember everything looking, I don't think it can be done. Does Recaro not sell their own sliders that can be used with the SPG's?

You'll need brackets+sliders+side mounts to mount your recaro's.
You contact rottec(sponsor) to purchase the 3 if they even sell them separately or,
there's a couple company that makes the bracket. You can purchase universal sliders.
Recaro sells the side mounts specific to the PP's or you can purchase the side mounts from a 3rd party/company.
Your stock seats will not work.

The euro GT3 fixed back seats? The seat bracket and slider should fit the recaro+side mounts.

I have an extra set (=pair, both L&R) of OEM 996 (used) sliders and an extra set (=for two seats) of OEM new 996 GT3 sub bars.

PM if interested. Located in Europe.

Sliders US$ 400,- + shipping
Sub bars US$160,- + shipping

PS. Factory sliders should work with Recaro's side brackets, at least some of them (=GT3's for sure, but most likely also with PP's). Brey Krause sells adaptive side brackets for all kinds of seats with OEM sliders too. I initially had OEM sliders with Cobra Suzuka Pro's, just had to drill few holes more to Cobra's own brackets. Moved away from them because the seat was too high for me with helmet and full cage. I'm 6ft 1".
