Which Carbon Fiber Lip?

Hi, well now I'm going to get a carbon fiber lip. Yes I did get a poly lip but am not real happy with it and when I went to have it installed at the dealer and indy body shop they both declined because it was not true and out of shape and they said it would not fit correctly, so both refused so now it's junk. But that's my issue.
So I was looking at the one Fabspeed sells or RotTec sells. Does anyone have experience with either? Both about the same price but I want one that fits correctly from the get-go and does not have to be modded to fit, like the poly piece of junk I bought.
Going to CF because I want to get the Misha GTM wing with CF so I think it'll look cool.

Thanks...Jim

what poly did you get? I hear horror stories about carbon lips. One hit or scrape and and it's toast.

I'd like to know which carbon lip works as well. I've been thinking about adding one to mine.

Rotec for sure..CF is great quality still shines have had mine over a year..

Yes it sits very low if your car is lowered...
Yes it WILL scrape at times..I opted to not go with their skid plate due to drilling into the spoiler..
Yes you may hit this on parking bumps LOL I have done it.

and YES it will add sooo much to the front end. Just such a more aggressive look if thats what youre going for..

I would prefer not to say which company, as they do advertise here and I have not discussed it with the board moderators, so it would be unfair to everyone concerned. I will say though I did purchase another item as well and it had to be returned due to issues.

Well, my car is not lowered, yet, so the CF may work, if not I'll do something else.

Personally, I never really understood CF lower lip unless it was to go on strictly show cars. This to me is probably the most damage prone body part on this car and don't really know why people spend all that money for a non flexible part that might crack at any moment for daily driving.

I guess it helps that you're not lowered but why not just go with an OEM piece?

My little lip on my MK1 scrapes all the time. Thank God it's plastic and under $100.
