I am in the process of rebuilding both of my forward axle shafts in my 2001 Carrera C4. I ordered the Beck/Arnley 1032250 outer cv boots. The problem I am having is the outer boots I ordered are larger than the ones I removed. So I ordered from a different manufacturer: Raybestos 816-1251, same size as the Beck/Arnley parts. Neither part is correct, but everywhere I look they are supposed to be compatible. I need to find out where to get the correct parts before I spend any more money.

Does anyone have measurements of the boot? I just want to make sure the previous owner didn't modify something. Axle shaft part number 996.349.038.10. And the outer shaft cv joint has a part number 993.349.607.00 and a GKN part number 1600013388. The boot has a GKN part number 2 151 04 75 00 001. I cannot find any info to confirm the outer shaft cv joint or boot were correct or original.
