You also have to start the car as well to get everything going. They look great, i couldn't be happier..

Thanks to everyone else who put their input in...
Great! You are welcome.

Sorry to revive an old post, but I liked this idea so much, I duplicated it. Ended up with LEDs in the fog lights, but during the day, they are barely visible; my entire purpose was to be more visible to other cars . . . Looks like I failed, so I may go HIDs in the fogs as DRLs; will have to take pictures-- KH

I basically disabled the original wiring connections of the foglights and purchased a DRL AUTO SWITCH RELAY on ebay (those relay type with harness that connects to the battery directly and turns on the DRL's automatically when the ignition is on and off when the ignition is off).

I then replaced the yellow H7 halogen bulbs to H7 WHITE LED Bulbs.

Surprisingly the setup served its purpose. DRL's without modifying the vehicle too much.
I did this too, but being lazy I didn't wan't to install new wires. I just turn on FLs when starting the car...

There are several types of LED "bulbs" in the market, the key issue is to find ones with most amount of lumens, ie the brightest. Mine are at least as bright as fullmetaljacket's.
