Look at the pic of my AS Cab . What do you think if I removed the plug where the original brake light went, and installed a silver brake light there. The wiring harness is right behind the plug. That way it would look silver to match the car, but would serve as another brake CM brake light. Hey, it's a unique mod and you know me! So what do you think?

Cool

IMO...2 lights will sort of tacky! I have the "silver" 3rd brake light and it will not blend perfectly with a silver car as imagined since the color of the lens is a bit off.

Seems like a nice mod. I've got a Basalt Black C4S that I'd like to get a smoked lens for if there are enough people for a group buy.

As noted, pics would be great.

If there was any misconception that these brake lights from Gert would not fit a turbo car I have some great news:

I just installed the smoked version in my turbo that has a Cargraphic GT2 decklid and it looks great

The only thing that needs to be done is to swap the leads in the harness to make it +12V

BTW, I have a customers turbo in my shop with a stock decklid and it fit perfectly when I tried it

Here are some pics:

Do you have a picture of your customer's car with the clear/smoked lights in the stock decklid? If Gert's information is incorrect, I am gonna get one.

Are you sure your customer wants his plates all over the internet? Especially Dealer Tags?

Does this mean you have to take out the lights in the new harness and replace them with the existing lights? Is this hard to do?
