Armrest Cupholder question

Anyone have this type of cupholder? http://www.birdautomotive.com/996.htm

Wondering if I should get it or not.

ugly if you ask me...Id go for factory if you REALLY need a cupholder....I never let anything resembling a cup or food in my cars

The armrest alone is cool because it allows you to rest your arm more comfortably but I wouldn't get the armrest option. Look into the "Ultimate cupholder" they are simlple and frankly the best on the market now. You don't have to worry about spilling and if it does it just wets the floormat.

Like the armrest but not the holder. Too bad the armrest is $500. I don't think it is worth it.

I installed one in an earlier '00 Carerra. Good fit and color match. Since the '99 and '00 did not come with cup holders, the Bird unit worked out well. The only beverage allowed in my cars is beer.
