I recently took the hard top off. Had the convertible up and down a few times working fine. Yesterday it went down half way and would not go any farther. I managed to get it closed but now when I push the top down button, the windows go down, the top is unlatched and that’s all. I hear the motor working but the top is not moving. The lid near the engine opens up getting ready to store the soft top. Can anyone recommend a Rag Top Convertible Repair Shop in Miami, Hollywood or Ft Lauderdale? Thanks

 

Sounds like you might be low on the hydro fluid for the top. It's very easy to add the fluid. I had to do this for a few years before i ended up changing the pistons.

 

There's a good DIY procedure for topping up the convertible drive hydraulic fluid at renntech.org, and probably others elsewhere. As suggested above, start with that and see if that solves the problem.

You might be able to find a shop that can rebuild them.
