I plan to save 35K by next year; wise to get 996 or 997 CS?

Well, it looks like the 996's may be going up in value a little. I saw a C4S the other day with 55K on the clock and they wanted $46k for her.
Also keep in mind, people and dealers price their cars for what they think they a worth and sometimes it's not reality.

My vote is the 997, both interior and exterior is so much nicer. The 996 turbo is obviously faster, if you have the need for speed than the 996 turbo is your choice.

Well, I still think the 996 Turbo is THE nicest 996 version there is (in terms of looks), and I am leaning heavily towards over any other Porsche model, since i've made this topic.
Are there certain colors that I can look out for, that is less demanded when it comes to any 996 car? I assume silver, black and white can sell higher than a red or a yellow 996. I like all these colors and if I can score a better deal because the color is unpopular, I will definitely make note of it.
