My "new to me" 2002 C4S
Some of you may have seen my other thread about this car (https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...me-doubts.html ), but for those who have not seen it, here is my new toy.
"Brief" history regarding my past cars: ALWAYS been a 911 fan, ever since I have any recollection as a child, especially as my dad used to be the race director back home (Dominican Republic). Memories of RSRs linger in my head all the time. Promised myself that at 30 years of age, I would own a 911. Had many opportunities to do so before the target date, but I voluntarily chose not to pursue. In 2001, I purchased a BMW Z3 M Coupe instead of a 1993 Carrera 2, but it had mostly to do with the fact that it used to belong to my father in law (R.I.P.). Loved that car, but a year later, a blessing (my twin boys) came to this world and I soon realized that a 2 seater was not going to "cut it". The search was on and in 2006, I purchased a 1999 996 Carrera 2. You know, a "practical family sports car". Three years of ownership with a M030 suspension, Falken RT615 tires, 6 speed, sport seats, took a toll and it was just "too hard core" for the local (Panama) quasi crappy streets. Flipped that for a 2003 Cayenne Turbo thinking it would mix the performance of a 911 with the practicality of a SUV. Nope, that did not happen. What I instead got was a chronically buggy piece of metal that gave me 8mpg on it's best day. After a year trying to sell it, I finally did so a couple of weeks ago, and wouldn't you know it? This car shows up! Automatic, normal suspension, much better shape than my previous C2, and priced right.
I have to publicly thank my wife, who has been 100% behind me in every single purchase I have made, and whose constant support of my crazy behavior makes her the best decision in my life. Without her by my side, I would not be where I am and I would not be half the man I am today.
Without any further ado, I present to you my new toy. (my applogies for the mold growth on my SLR sensor...)

Congrats on the C4S! Sorry to hear about your experience with the Cayenne. My 2004 Cayenne S has been a wonderful vehicle. It's nice to have it in the garage along with the C4S.
