Aftermarket 18" Wheels Recommendations
Looking for another set of 18" wheels for my 996 but am having trouble finding stuff that's:
1) Not a 19"
2) Not $4000+ dollars (go away HRE, you're drunk!)
3) Not 2 or 3-piece
4) Hubcentric (too bad Forgestar's arn't in 18" )
5) Must be lighter than OEM, otherwise what's the point really...
Seems like a lot has changed over the past few years since I was looking at aftermarket wheels.
Can you guys please recommend some wheels/post up pics if you have em?
Some stuff that i've been considering are:
1) OZ Allegeritta's In Black (Not sure how they would look on a silver 996 though)
2) Wheel Dynamics 808 - What' with the massive center cap? It's the only thing that's turning me off from these.
3) CCW's - Little bit more pricey but can get them in the exact offset i'm looking for and they are forged which means they should be tough as nails.
Other recommendations?

I did the same, had to be light one piece and good price and 18's.
Victor Equip was the best - much lighter than stock and a great price. Got them last year from wheel dynamics absolutely love them and I am pretty picky about my ride.

Volk's in 18's are another option but i've heard of people having problems with wheel weights on them.

Very few people in very few threads complained about that issue. I suspect it may have been an adhesive problem.
Biased, but here is a vote for volks

I would agree the 808's look better with the concave albeit heavier (which was a big consideration for me). Also the sizing is too narrow for a WB car, may be ok for you NB though, def a nice looking rim.

Oz makes racing wheels all the way up to Formula 1. Pretty good deal for the money. If you like the style.
Volks are also very hard and track oriented. And light.
Or, how about some oem 5 spoke wheels? Light and look good.

Not a fan of the OEM 5 spokes. If I were to do 5-spoke I would definitely want something simple and more 'old-skool' looking like this:
