Last night after dinner when I was on the way home to Monterey Park, I notice that this kid driving a modified honda civic with turbos. He was following behind me so close, I was driving speed limit approx 37 mph. After a while, he switched lane and gave me a mean look. I bet he was *****ing about why I was driving so slow with the Porsche. Then I switched to manual to see if I can race him. I would say the tiptronic on the C2 is quite impressive. And seems he can't switch his gear fast enough to catch up with me. I only saw his car getting smaller and smaller from my mirror. Then we stopped at the red light, he was right behind me. Green light, I floor it again. He just gave up on chasing me. I know it was quite dangerous cause i was driving like 90 mph for a certain distance on local street. I would imagine if I get caught, that will be a big problem. My wife was next to me. She wasn't too happy :-( racing with her car hehe. Anways, I should have let him go at the beginning.

 

rule #1, never race when your wife is in the car or when you have kids you will never be allowed alone with them.

rule#2, never race a ricer on the street. It's so much more fun ignore him and drive in 1st or second at 6000+rpm and for him to realize you can take him any time you feel like...

But i was afraid that those modified honda civic will really beat the crap out of me. Then it will be a shame. He was quite fast though hehehe. If he dares to race me, he might know how much power on my car. So I dont want to look down on my opponent.
