I think we should all move off this issue. On that note, I just had to do my 00 C2 with 29K miles or whatever on it and my 99 C4 with 58k Miles is dry. Comes with ownership.
No complaints here.

My car had the RMS changed at 4500 miles, not because it was leaking, but I had a defective transmission. I had a burl on a synchro that made you have to rev match 2nd a bit too much. Not common but porsche replaced it. While the dealer was in there he said they might as well check the machining and change the RMS (it was all apart anyway) and put in the new self-sealing bolts since my car was an 03. The dealer ate the cost of the RMS and the bolts since they were not leaking(so they could not claim a warranty repair to porsche).

if it indeed turns out to be an ongoing occurrence then every time it is "fixed" then they extend the warranty on parts and labour for another 18~24 months (from memory). you might want to check with your dealer or PCNA.
PCNA already knows how many rms's have been fixed. they pay for the repair. more imortantly i want PCNA to disclose how many rms have been "fixed"

I am on my forth, (22,500 miles) and i am pretty sure this time they will change the motor. It should bother me , but it doesnt, I love the car, and i will not let a few drops of oil on my garage floor kill that special bond I have with my pcar. My only worry is the car wont be as strong as it is now.
