Best App for ELM 327?
#2
What device, Andriod or IOS?
Are you looking to monitor performance, read/reset error codes, or something else?
Torque (Android only) is a very good gauge/monitor application. Wish it was available on IOS. I dumped my Nexus once I integrated an iPad into my 996 dash so I don't use android any more.
Rev (IOS) tries to be sort of like torque... You can check out their free version and decide if it's worth upgrading to the paid version. I found it a bit clumsy.
Harry's Lap Timer (IOS & Android) is very cool because it can overlay OBD info onto track videos.
Harry's GPS/OBD Buddy, A much simpler free version, can read and display some OBD parameters. No lap timing or video.
Dash-Command (IOS) looks like a full-featured OBD gauge dashboard system, but I refuse to pay $50 for it, so I'll never really know.
If you go on the Apple IOS app store, you will see a ton of free or low cost OBD2 gauge and check engine tools... try and couple of other ones and tell us what you think.
