9 and 11 inch wide wheels on 996
Guys, anyone running 9" and 11" wide wheels on your 996? Any issues with rubbing on the outside fender or inside on the suspension components or inner body?
I'm hoping with the correct custom offset I can have some custom wheels made for my 996 with 9 and 11" wide wheels!

These may be specific to the wheels I had, take it for what it's worth.
My car originally came with 9"/11" Asantis. I had major issues with them. 3-4 shops, new tires and all sorts of tinkering and I could never get them balanced. The vibes were so bad, I think they contributed to my control arm bolts rattling and falling off while driving. The best thing I ever did was to get rid of those damn wheels and go with 997 lobster claws. All wheel problems disappeared immediately.

Note that you guys are talking about two different body widths. The C4S will take the wider wheels without an issue. I'm not clear about the NB cars though as all I've ever found is people talking about the wider wheels on the C4S.
I'd love to know as well though as our original 18s (7.5/10) on our 01 C4 are looking pretty bad and everything I find that I like are wider than the originals and the offset calculations suggest that I wouldn't be happy with the result (for example some of the 997 wheels) since we aren't interested in rolling the fenders.

Reason i have this list is because i'm eyeing a set of rear wheels 11.5 inches wide, et 44.
I know this is going to poke out by ~14mm, but i cant find anywhere that lists the max negative camber settings you can get with stock suspension. Anyone know?

Looks great! I'd like to know more about your setup:
How much is it lowered? (On springs or coils?)
Tire size?
Narrow or wide body?
Fenders rolled? Pulled?
Oh yeah, send more pics!!

I rubbed a bit on a 285 so im running a 275 on it with zero rubbing. Fenders are rolled but not pulled.

I'm running a set of 18" Sport Technos on my '02 Cab that has been lowered through a PSS9 setup. No fender rolling and no issues. Had more of a challenge with the 19" Lobster Forks from a 997 when those were on.

19's on NB
i have a 2000 NB with Victor Lemans 19's (295/30/ZR19 offset 52 rear, 235/35/zr19 offset 49 front) and hate them. the rears rub if you are not careful going over bumps, fronts rub on the plastic wheel well cover when you make a sharp turn. all of this was done by the previous owner including rolling the rear fenders. looking to replace them in the spring with 18's. if you want i can let you have them relatively cheap. wheels have no marks, rubs or curb rash.
