First tiny mods
It's raining out, so I'll post pics later. In fact, I haven't even posted pics of the car yet (my first Porsche) But I did my first little baby mods today.
I installed the non-smoker's kit. That was fairly easy. Just had to move the window switches to the new trim piece. Now I know these switches are no different than any other German car, but it was a little scary, I admit.
Suncoast didn't have the plug to replace the lighter for 03 cars (with flat black switches) but I found that the BMW plug is a perfect match. The plastic is identical to the surround of the rain sensor adjustment ****. And I happened to have an extra BMW plug in the garage, so that looks great now.
I also installed the aspheric mirrors. I have the auto-dimming driver's mirror and Suncoast sent me the right auto-dimming asph mirror. The only issue is that the driver's mirror has a dotted line between the two surfaces, instead of the solid line on the passenger side (or any other asph mirror I've ever seen). But I can live with that. I've added these mirrors to all my other cars for the past few years and I can't go back.
And, I got the umbrella that goes in the hole on the passenger side sill. It fits in their nicely, but the umbrella itself is unfortunately not as nice as the similar BMW unit. Oh well. It serves the purpose.
Oh man, do I love this car. I'm putting way too many miles on it.

But then Jenner's description of the fabspeed exhaust had me thinking.
And your car looks just like mine, same wheels and colors and all, but you have those cool skirts. Damn, I am catching something, aren't I?

Congrat's, and don't worry -- there are plenty worse things you could catch! Although, this is probably one of the more expensive 'bugs'.
Side Skirts are a must! You will love the look once installed....

Nova I have the same car as you, my side skirts get installed on Monday! I got different ones from Kirby though. Mine look like the current GT3 sides. I think they are also called the Cup II sides.
What mine will look like after Monday (but in seal grey):
Here are Kirby's:
[Sorry to borrow/use pics without permission. If the owners have a problem with it I will edit and remove]

I paid 795 Euro shipping included for the sides and 300 Euro for the paint from Carnewal in Europe. They arrived in the states in just a few days via FedEx international. I was shocked. Excellent pricing, service and shipping.
They are being installed for $100 cash(USD) by the local Porsche Autobody shop that my dealership uses on Monday as I mentioned before.
Total should run me about $1350(USD) for everything.
I think the prices for the sides are usually more, but I ordered aluminum pedals, stainless steel door sills and metal valve stems all at the same time. Hope this helps. I'll post pics after I pick it up on Monday.

I'm really looking forward to the pics with the skirts. Thanks.

That picture was taken this past weekend. It is at my beach with a sunset(not sunrise) over the Sound/Atlantic ocean.
Yes I know I am on the East Coast and that is impossible to have the sunset over the Atlantic, but where I live(on the hill behind the beach) the coastline curves in and I have water on 3 sides of me, thus I can end up with a sunset over the water on the East Coast!
