I recently installed a double DIN Nav system (AVIC-D1) in my 2000 996.

I ended up moving the A/C controls down to the lower console, bottom slot, where I've seen other members move theirs to. It all works great so far.

The question is where did you guys get your A/C plastic surrounds from ?

I've made up a plastic surround for the A/C controls but it's only temporary and doesn't look great. Everyone else here seems to have "shop" looking surrounds, I've searched the web and didn't come up with much more that pictures of people that have done it, but no info.

Any ideas would be very warmly received.
