Well, I had a GREAT wekk at work and decided to treat myself to the ultimae camera for me....the Nikon D2X! For those that don't know, 12.8 Megapixel, 8 fps, huge buffer, WiFi transmitter, GPS capable...it does it all....I have a ton of lenses and Nikon gear and I never thought I would spend so much on a camera, but here are a few pics I snapped so far....Now I am off to Laguna Seca for the ALMS race! I'll post plenty of Porsche pics when I get back.....

Nice shots, please update when you get a chance to take some indoor flash pics. The D2x is supposed to be a little better with white balance issues than the D70s. I had a D70 and it was awful with indoor flash. There was a nasty blue haze. I manually adjusted white balance to -2 like the Nikon forum guys suggested but still couldn't get rid of it even the PS post processing. I guess it's a known issue with the D70. Got rid of the camera and got the 20D instead. I have been toying with the idea of getting a D2X because of all the Nikon glass that I have but don't have a place to rent one and try it out.
