Just got back....great race, great cars.....LOVE the D2X WOW!!!! Here are a few pics before I go to bed....Oh and the Porsche LMP2 car is SCARY fast...as fast as the Audi and Lola LMP1!!!!!!

I had the opportunity to attend the American LeMans series race at Laguna Seca yesterday and witness the Penske Porsche Spyder RS makes its LMP2 debut and kick some serious butt!

While the car came in 5th overall, it did out pace most of the bigger and faster LMP1 cars and finished 8 laps ahead of the closest LMP2 car. The Porsche was posting lap times as fast as the LMP1 cars. This car will be a real contender for next year. :grin:

Excellent pics. Just watched it on SpeedTV -- some of the best televised racing I've seen in a long time. The new Porsche prototype was awesome, the battle in GT1 was outstanding, and the view from the camera in Patrick Long's car, going through the corkscrew in the dark, was memorable.
