ROW Sport Suspension installed - pics and impressions

I must say the ride is a little frimer and you really feel the bumps in the city wich is a minus.....but I had the car on twisty roads in the hamptons this weekend and what a differrence in handling! My normal "racetrack" road, wainscott drive, was a blast to tear up...the sway bars make all the differrence - so far so good...not as low as I would have thought - must need to settle

Still looks a little high up front

ROW vs US sport suspension

What is the performance difference between the ROW and US 030? I know the ROW is lower, but is this a cosmetic change, or does it offer a noticeable performance improvement? I'm considering the 030, but I also plan on driving my C4 all year long, and wouldn't give up the ground clearance just for looks (although I do like the look).

Thanks

andrew the car handles better due to a lower center of gravity and the addition of sway bars - the ride is firmer though - not as comfortable

Doesn't the US 030 have the same sway bars?? I thought the only difference was the lowering.

The US M030 uses the same sway bars as the ROW M030. The springs and shocks are shorter for the ROW M030.

Darren, that seems REALLY high...

Mine is considerably lower.. It did settle, but yours still seems WAY higher. Do you have before/after numbers of ride height?

The front def. looks lower now - I realy think the 03's came with cayenne suspensions by accident

Darren, are you sure got all the right stuff?

It's a little hard to see in your pics, but your front end sure does look high. Check out this thread on Renntech.org about compensation plates (coupe): Compensation Plates

Here's a link to my site with before and after pics: RoW 030 vs US

Also, some more current pics, one of the front end with flash.

Expect it to settle some, but yours still looks pretty high.

I just replaced my old RoWM030 with new ones:
On the right the old ones, on the left the new ones after 200miles. Still looks a little higher now but will settle further I guess.

BTW Darren, I don't now how many miles its takes to fully settle but I have seen pics of a 996C2Cab with the RoWM030 installed and looks just like yours but didn't settle further
