Different tires front and back?

On a C4S, can I run different tires on the front than on the back? I currently have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus on the back and the front are worn out and need to be replaced. I can't seem to find the same for the front (not sure if they may not make them any longer) so I'm looking at Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires up front. Is this a bad idea?

Thanks

You'll get mixed responses with the majority no doubt saying you should run the same tires front and back however I have been using mitchelin pilot sport 2's on the rear of my C4S and something else (bridge stones perhaps) on the front for the last 6-7months without issue. Occasionally at speed it feels a little flighty at the front end but I doubt this is down to the tyres. I'm in the UK where's it's mixed seasons almost daily so driven like this with snow rain and hear and quite happy with my tyres. The fronts, whichever brand they are have been just fine and with great tread still I couldn't justify changing them out just because I replaced my rears.

I wouldn't , but it's really a personal choice. If you were tracking or DEing then absolutely no. Check tirerack.com

Thanks all. I'm a "mature person" most of the time, so I'll give it a shot. =0)
