The 15K service is a glorified oil change, nothing more. I would not pay anywhere close to those prices. Got mine down at RPM racing for around $200 and I thought that was high.

It's an oil change, and some additional filters (air and pollen) also they top off the fluids and check the operation of everything. FYI: The air and pollen filters alone are $37 & $71. So about $110 dollars of the service is extra parts. You should check what your dealers does for the 15k, maybe they do a whole bunch more things like change the brake/clutch fluid, which is recommended every 2 years. I personally am going to do that part at my next oil change in the spring.

There has to be a reason it's 825 and it's not the cost difference between labor in NJ vs Texas.

that price is accurate. porsche is adding two new services with their 15K. they're optional, but Porsche recommended.

one is a de-molding of the ac system to get rid of some odor people complain about. apparently the cayenne's get it really bad.

the other is some fuel system cleanout.

that is where the extra 300 bones is probably coming into play. i blew both off on my 15K service as my air smells fine and from what i've been told the fuel clean out is waste unless you really baby the car. not a problem in my case

The dealer can't void your warranty if you don't get the 15K service done by them. That's illegal. They would have to prove that whatever warranty issues occur are specifically due to something that you didn't have done as part of the 15K service.

I didn't bother doing it myself because the dealer only charged me $350, and for that price, I didn't feel like doing that myself!
