S/S brake lines, why the big $$ difference
I am going to be installing S/S brake lines over the winter.
There is a large difference in price.
Is there a difference between $250 lines and $50 lines.
What should I be looking for in the description.
Daily driver and Autocross, maybe a DE .
Thanks

If you wanna be safe and not take the risk, go with the established brands that's known to have better QC on their products and make them in house and have DOT rating. That's probably the best you can do.
OTOH, some will argue that the materials are the same so it really boils down to tolerances, QC, fitment at that point. That risk tolerance will be different for different individuals.
FWIW, Rennlist had a Group Buy from a reputable vendor over a year ago and IIRC, the price point was somewhere under $70.

I have used braided steel lines in the past, the price point was always justified by the QC, mostly in the application of the fittings.
It did not cross my mind about DOT, that is a biggie, ty.
I wonder if there are competition specs from various racing groups that would also apply here.
How do the group buys work on 6 speed? I have never done one?
