Thrust bushing replacement thoughts

I'm getting ready to replaced my lower control arms due to a loose ball joint and have been looking at the many options of thrust bushing available.

The problem I'm having is replacing a pivot bushing with a solid puck of aluminum. Doing this causes the entire arm to pivot when the suspension is compressed putting more stress on the ball joint and tension rod bushing.

Has anyone considered using a sealed monoball joint like GMG offers for the inner control arm bushing rather than a solid piece?

Sorry if this has been covered, did a quick search and did not see such a topic.
