I agree: ideally I'd go for the C4S - but it is significantly more $ than a C4… upscale, better platform, and more rare means they seem to go for more. I'd jump on a C4S if I found one I could afford

2 tenths slower means nothing in a car that already performs better than I can drive And anyone buying a 911 for straight line acceleration doesn't understand the car.

*i just found out my home refi is going to close on the 12th, so I can't make a purchase before then without it affecting my refi. My goal is by February to have a 996 in my garage. So excited. I am just stuck on the way a Porsche feels over my Audi/VW's
I guess we've definitely got the Porsche bug. Here it is Christmas and we're online researching & talking about these cars.

Feb will get here fast...

I'm just a fan of the C4S, and the Turbo's because of the AWD, nothing like driving into the corners and feel the AWD kick in. With the AWD the traction control is applied with the differntials, not the breaks, real plu IMO.

But with much appreciation for your help, I do recognize where you are coming from. And in reality the G37 or the golf R may go in place for the Porsche due to garage size...

Ageed here, no one can push these cars to the max on the street. Check around, C4S can be found. I'll look around and see what I can come up with.

There are three 4S' for sale in Denver area right now, two have gone through 5-6 price reductions so far.

One is hovering around $29k (Mike ward infiniti) one is $31k in Denver(Highline Automotive) and booth motors has one for $27k

The $31k (Highline Automotive) has PSE, and is the one I wanted to buy. I can afford it IF I get rid of my Golf R for it.... So I am stuck between a $23k C2 and a $31k C4s... when I already own (3) AWD cars, all I am really getting is the wide body & PSE (Which is nice)

Good News, Attended a Xmas party last night and the owner of the Car dealership was there (Apparently we have mutual friends)

He said that Carerra had not been sold and is unsure why it doesn't show up on his website anymore.... anyway, I am going to take it for a Lengthy Test drive this week once the roads are clear and put a deposit down if we can agree on everything...

So it appears we both did well @ Poudre in Fort Collins.

Andrew got a really nice C2, and I found the perfect C4 Cabrio.

We did! Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Love the sport seats although my shoulders don't quit fit (even though I'm only 180) not sure who these seats were made for

*first mod is fister style muffler mod

I gotta hear that exhaust mod once you're done!

I'm concerned about drone with my Cabrio… had a PRHT Miata previously and drone was a big issue.
