I have an issue with my Porsche 996 where the passenger door won't open from the inside or outside. I've managed to remove the door panel with the door closed and replaced the door lock mechanism. After that it was working until I set the alarm and now I'm in the same position again. The micro switch on the door is working fine because when I open the door handle, the window tries to drop. Any advice?

 

My friend had the same problem. Did you replace the cables inside the door? Did you use new lock? He had to replace all with new parts as used parts didn't work.

After the hardware replacement, the alarm would go off still. I think the alarm is triggering something or the sensor is faulty.
