Where to find my color code
Well, I THOUGHT my car was Seal Grey. Got home with my touch up paint and it is a bit darker (the touch up paint).
Where do I find my paint code? I know it is not silver.
Any ides?

I thought your car looked dark. I am wondering if it is Slate Grey. That would be the next shade. It was a color you could order at a significant additional cost $3K from memory.

My underhood sticker is completely white (faded/wash off....). Can the colorcode be determined from the VIN?

Dealer says that the 6B5 is the ONLY color code. Yet mine says 6B4 and the touch up paint is obviously darker than my car. They ran my VIN and it is supposed to be Seal Gray.
I need to take the car over there for a propper inspection.

Any chance the prior owner repainted the car due to an accident or anything? I hope not, but you never know. I did once have a Corvette that the color code didn't match the build sheet, but it was a GM error that they fixed for me.

Tim,
open ur trunk & untight the plastic screw on ur driver side carpet padding (where u access the driver side headlight). open it up u'll see the correct paint code & the name of the color on a black sticker on the frame of ur car. that can't be mess up.
btw, the touch-up metallic paint from dealer is always darker than the OE paint. if u look closer the metallic flick is much bigger & paint is much thinker. anyway, it sucks. so the best way is to get some bodyshop to mix some touch-up paint for u to keep.
