Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Pressures for DE Events

I regularly run PCA DE events. I have been utilizing the Micheling Pilot Sports. I have recently purchased a set of rims and tires for use ONLY as a track set. I purchased a set of the Michelinn Pilot Sport Cup tires. Do any of you have experience with tire pressures for these tires on the track?? What works best with these particular tires in front and rear??

Thanks for your assistance. Any help would be appreciated.

35 hot

35 hot is the optimum setting. adjust accordingly based on weather. I get 8 pounds on a hot day. don't bring them to 40 like the p zero's.

Like Mike said you will want to be right around 35 hot, your in Florida so you wont be dealing with a cold track like we sometimes encounter in the early spring and fall up north here, I would suggest you start out with roughly 30-28 all around and adjust from there.

I concur. On my 996, I have had my sport cups running shy of that number, and above that #, front and rear, on track days...driven pretty hard. I can honestly say that it performed best at 34-35 degrees hot. a few degrees in either direction proved a pretty dramatic performance setback. Made the change in temp and whammo!...lovin' the sport cups.
