Guys,

Vertex has the Schnell headers on sale for $779. The price seems right. Has anyone got them installed and can provide some feedback on their actual gains. Dyno Sheets?

What else should be done with headers -- SW to adjust A/F ratios, intake, etc?

There have been a few threads on this, but 779 is a good deal.

 

Now I recall there were/are some issues with "search" -- putting in Schnell returned no results, hence the post.


Timmy W., I spoke with Eric on Sat -- he has a different brand but thinks they all come from the same manuf. Said Butt-o-meter indicated improvements and better throttle response --- humm that's the same sort of quantifiable results that had us digging deep in the pocket for M5 mods!

I am pretty happy with them now. I ordered both the headers and the mufflers and got them installed all at once. Awesome price, very high quality craftmanship.

At first it was not as loud as I wanted. But after a few weeks now, the sound is louder and sounds good! Sounds like the old school 993's.
