I am also building a house this year in Fribourg although only just. Building it in a village called Grange. Should be ready for the end of the year.

After this with an empty garage waiting I will be fully dedicated to putting my first Porsche into it.

I read a bit of the Rennlist discussion. Frankly, I'm not sure there is enough information to conclude that it is an accurate representation of the headers or other factors. There is also no dyno graph to show where the losses supposedly occured, what the temp was, what the humidity was, etc. Not to say that the results are not valid, just that there is no way to tell whether they are reliable with the given information.

I also enjoyed the whole get what you pay for mentality. It is precisely the reason that we pay far more for equivalent parts than most other sports car owners.

And as far as Porsche's design of the stock 3.4 header goes, it is crap. The thing looks like something that belongs on a 40's era Panzer, not a Porsche. I'm going to take a couple pics this weekend for those of you who haven't had a chance to crawl under there. The whole thing is clearly designed for the cheapest production. Bleck!

interesting.. just read it and apparently he installed it incorrectly.. he had the gasket on backwards thus blocking the flow. we have to await his results with the correction.

My car is my daily driver so I'm with you on that. I don't notice any decrease in low RPM stop and go. I do perceive a increase in responsiveness as the RPMs want to climb. Granted it probably isn't anything that is going to win the race, but it certainly doesn't seem to have hurt. I don't think any one item, save forced induction, is going to really give you undeniable butt dyno power increases.

Overall, especially for the money, I'm very pleased so far. Like I said before, the welds and fabrication look pretty darn good, especially for the money. Fitment was perfect, even with my aftermarket exhaust. There is no resonance but a subtly throatier sound on acceleration. (Morning cold starts are *really* sweet).

Thank you, you are right. But I hesitate between several marks:
Tubi, fabspeeds, europipe, Cargraphic, speedart, ruf, 9ff, techart ...
Any idea?

Vincent
