ya that is true, at least I live in seattle where the hottest it gets is 95 and there is no humidty!

what about putting spacers in between the a/c radiators and the cooling radiators?

I would suspect that spacers would disrupt the airflow through them (as a stack) and decrease thier performance. That's just a guess though.

i had a 996c2 with about 8000 very hard tradck miles on it. i am not that slow as carlos can attest to that. but my has NEVER overheated. i often run it non stop for 60+ min. at 100+ deg of ambient temp. once was 117 deg at button willow.

if your C2 motor is stock and you are overheating it, something is wrong with your cooling system.
Mooty, I have to disagree. I have watched numerous 996's overheat when run hard in 90+ w/o the third radiator. The P-car water pumpers are notorius for overheating, from the early 996's all the way up to the DPs at Daytona this year.

Carlos. thank you so much for the pictures! did you take them?? what it looks like if I want to do it "right" I have to get rid of the A/C radiators... is that first pic the outer opening? looks like on duct goes for brakes and the other is the radiator..

not a problem bruce. i took the pictures last friday at a track event. that gt3R was at le mans.

ya if you want to take advantage of the duct exiting out the side then yes you have to get rid of the AC condenser. i don't think you have to go to those measures. just use some turbo or gt2 ducts.

the smaller duct opening IS for the the brakes.
