tire pressure
Hey Guys
I just got those much needed tires, pilot sports 225/40/18 front 285/30/18 front. What tire pressure should I run? My car fuel cap says 36 front 44 rear. Tire rack says 36 front and rear. I ask around and many places give very different numbers.
Thanks for your help

Go with Porsche recommendation 36/44 psi. Too low pressure offers less tire wear, poor ride, rim damage, poor mileage and more strain. 33 is too low for sure.

small thread jack.. I've been running 42/44. Can too much front tire pressure cause the front end sliding problem I'm having with sharp left turns? Or am I asking too much from the car/tire/PSS9 combo?

To each his own IMHO. . . With the higher tire pressures my *** end was sliding all over the place in the auto X.
During my daily driving I prefer close to stock or a little less with the Pirelli PZero Rosso's as they have a tendency to wear in a scalloped fashion.
