Long time no talk man! i paid $400 twice a year thru AllState for my 02'...you should be able to get a decent rate if you have more than one car under the policy.

$3k

$3k / year gets me my C2, Harley, House and Jetski all insured with Farmers.
I think the C2 alone is about $600 with a $1k deductible, 300k coverage ( I think ! - I should really check, I've been with them for over 10 years and never changed)

I live in Silicon Valley, California and am 38, with a clean license, not married .

Pay about the same as Neil in NJ but I live in another part of the state which in NJ usually makes a difference, about $2200 for my Carrera with Allstate(multi policy and car discount) 1000 deductable and 500k. Geico, which I think Neil uses, wanted $4200 for the same with only 250k they couldn't match it. For me it was 15 minutes will cost you 2000 dollars. They were also double Allstate on my Cayenne.

Damn, nice to see that on the average and despite our lower crime rate (and better drivers ) we pay considerably more for insurance up here in Canada than you guys do in the US.

Most things cost more in a socialized society. Either more money, or less quality.

Damn, yeah it's been forever Albert...the man who got me all into this. LOL. I don't think I would've ever gone down this crazy euro path had I not known you back in the day. so I have you to blame haha. I'll give Allstate a call, for some reason their site won't work with my Safari.

BTW, has anyone heard of this...my friend tells me your insurance automatically covers you within 2 days upon any car purchase whether or not you've put that car directly into your plan. ???

In the states, you are automatically covered....I think it is 30 days providing you have an active policy.
