Cost to convert to GT-3?

Anyone convert a stock C 2 to GT3 look? I have an 02. What do I need and how much will it cost to change the look to GT3?

Thanks!!

Wing, side skirts and front bumper. Then the body will look the same. If you want the EXACT same look, you need GT3 wheels and also to lower the car to the GT3 ride height. For the body, you can probably do the parts for $1500-2000 depending on where you get them, and if you go with OEM parts, which I suggest. The lowering and wheels? Depends on which way you go. The GT3 wheels are wider as well, 11" rears and 8.5" fronts, so the fill out the fenders more.

1500 bucks, that's the cost for paint alone for bumper, wing and skirts.Let's be serious..Factory Aerokit 4-5k2k install/paintCoil over suspension 2-3kInstall/align 500-800Front 6piston brakes with rotors 2-3kRear brakes in red 800-1000 (unless you powder coat your current ones)GT3 rear carpet to replace rear seats. 500-1000Not counting new gadge faces and door jam logos.GT3 seats 2500And if you really want to go overboard....1000 welding sunroof shut and repaint30k GT3 engine1k weld body reinforcement10k GT3 transmission. But you should get 10k when you sell your used engine and transmission to offset the costs. So maybe it's cheaper just to buy a used GT3.

Well then, for body parts only skip the brakes, suspension(but you will need lowering springs)AeroKit II about 5k for oem (2-2.5k for fiberglass copy) then add about 300 bucks for the front splitter which is optional most don't do it. Plus paint and install for the whole thing.I'd go oem though because the bumper is flexable so it won't crack easily and the parts will require less prep work for install. If you have the side skirts already from the factory, the oem aerokit II bumper should be between 1100-1500 and and the rear wing should be about 2-2.5k depending. You don't save much but then again you don't have a spare set of side skirts.Cheers,Corey (sitting at the airport waiting for a flight to denver)

Still too much...on ebay right now there is a OEM Porsche GT3 Cup bumper at $600, and a Fiberglass tail at $600...No reason not to get a fiberglass tail if you just want the look...its not like a bumper where its may take a light tap...OEM skirts are $600 from Brandywine...thats where I got mine.

The bumper is actually $700 plus another $170 for shipping, and it's used:

The wing isn't OEM, it's aftermarket, and it's also used. It's $575 plus $100 shipping.

So that's $1545 already. Add another $600 for the side skirts, plus $50 to ship them, and you're up to $2200 for mostly used parts with one piece not being OEM.

The prices the other guys are giving are much more realistic.

Sorry....I guess I like a bargain...For my car: $500 Turbo front OEM used but in perfect condition, $250 Turbo Rear OEM used but perfect condition, $600 GT3 skirts new, free shipping. $650 997 19" wheels, used takeoffs perfect condition....If you look hard enough you can do things at reasonable prices...$5k for body parts is crazy. Why would used matter? As long as they are in good condition, they will need to be primered, sanded and prepped for paint the same way a new bumper would. And the result is EXACTLY the same....
