The skirts on the MKI and the MKII are slightly different but the BIG difference is the way they are mounted. On the MKI you'll need to drill holes on the body of the car to install the metal rail which the rocker sits on. The newer MKII doesn't require this rail. . . . .

I noticed that mine does not have metal rails. I have alot to learn about these cars.

I'm not sure why Porsche changed the design but this was something I noticed when looking up Aero kits one day.... 6-speed is a great place to let others help you!
