Positive review of Lucent Motor (a 6speedonline.com Sponsor)
I just wanted to write a post to express my gratitude for Arling and Tom at Lucent Motor (www.lucentmotor.com).
Arling went beyond the call of duty, plain and simple. Due to a very busy schedule and some product-shipping errors, I was not able to bring my car up to Los Angeles; I live in Orange County. For those who do not know the area, the 30 mile drive takes about 1 hour without traffic. Arling not only drove down to pick up my car to drive back to LA (I requested he drive the car extensively to identify any bugs), but he left his Cayenne S as a loaner! That was a surprise. For the most part, the Cayenne was parked in the garage…though I have to say, I will buy a Cayenne in the near future.
Because of a long road trip to Texas planned next week, Arling and Tom meticulously went over the car, from fluids to suspension. Though I brought my car to a Porsche dealership last Monday for a "final review", Arling and Tom were able to identify and recommend service that the dealership failed to "inspect", although the check-off box was checked on a check-list...you can tell my confidence level in a Porsche dealership. Naturally, I had Lucent do the final inspection of the Porsche before embarking on a road trip.
Though there are many Porsche-orientated shops in the OC and LA area, I recommend Lucent Motor. Servicing your Porsche is not just about price; it is about the personalized service and attention to detail that makes Lucent Motor standout from the rest.

I'm sure if you do a search for the term Lucent on the forum you'll only find outstanding reviews. Tom/Arling and the boys are a great bunch - the only people I trust leaving my car with. Lucent is the Nordstroms of tuningshops -simply the best customer service

I've never heard anything remotely bad about Lucent. In fact, everyone who has done work there has said nothing but amazing things. I only wish there was a shop out in the NY area like Lucent. Arling, please expand!!

I spend my weekends at Lucent.

Instead the hotdog, I usually buy the Lotto tickets so I can buy more mods.
