I have tried many different products, including the ones you have mentioned. My favorite is P21s, its super easy to apply and gives a great shine. I use it all the time on my Basalt Black 996.

Your car's appearance is mainly going to depend on the level and quality of prep work. You attention to detail with clay and polishing is what will make an outstanding deep finish.

LSP's (Last Step Products) will only slightly alter the way a car looks. Choose the one that works best for you. For the most part the most durable products are the least user friendly and can leave streaking and other issues. While products that are easy to work with often times give very little durability and require frequent application.

Clay the car, then Zaino, then a coat of carnuaba wax. Cleans the surface, protects it, and then adds great depth to the paint. If you're lazy you can get away without doing the carnuaba and just add layers of Zaino. BTW, if you're going to do the Zaino get their accelerant.

I agree w/ the Zaino, it has a mirror shine, esp. on a black car!

I was a Griot's Best In Show advocate, especially on my black Benz. Then Consumer Reports did a test and it winds up that plain old, over the counter, Black Magic got the highest ratings. It did particularly well in ease of application, durability and, most importantly, luster. It really gives depth to my dark teal 996 which I couldn't achieve before. As noted above, prep is very important. Cleaning clay, followed by a light scratch/swirl remover works best for me.

I like the P21S when you're ready for wax - I like that it doesn't leave white residue on rubber trim, weatherstripping etc.

I am a huge fan of the Klasse line of products. The AIO (All in one) works great on just about any surface and you can apply multiple layers of wax on top of it to achive the paint depth you are looking for. Klasse products are very easy to use/remove and pretty inexpensive compared to some of the other stuff out there.
