Question Wheel Tech

I'm looking to put 19" OEM five spoke classics on my car.
Fronts 19X8 57 offset 235X35
Rears 19X11 67 offset 295X30

I currently have...18" OEM five spokes
Fronts 18X7.5 50 offset 225X40
Rears 18X10 65 offset 285X30

My suspension mods consist of PSS9, GT3 Sways, all set to aggresive (lowered) settings. My question is, am I making a mistake with the 19 inch combo? I hate to add spacers into the mix considering how perfect the car feels now.

Any advice would be appreciated.

the offset looks good to me, are you tracking your car? If not you'll be fine, just a little harsher ride. Size 295/30/19 are actually closer to 25" diam (which is how these cars are designed in mind) and since your bumping up to 235/35/19 in fronts, it should look similar to your 7.5 setup. You will lose a little performance but not really that much. But 18" are really the way to go.

My car actually handles BETTER with the 19" setup...smoother too....it could be the extra width in the rear that makes up for the smaller sidewall....a spacer up front will not negatively effect handling...in fact some think it will help.....

Decided to go for performance over looks, since this is a track car, anyway. I ended up getting a set of 18" oem technology wheels off Ebay from Suncoast. Those guys are the best.

18X8F 225X40 et50
18X11R 295X30 et63

Good to know the 19's would have worked.

Thanks everyone!

Did you get the weights of the wheels? You may take a step BACK in performance with heavier wheels....My 19s are lighter than my 18s were so my performance was better....

They're hollow spokes, and super light. Actually, my 18" Carreras will be the track wheels. These will be for the street.
