Baby car seat...

Hi,
Does anyone know if any non-porsche convertible car seat will fit in the rear seats? Do you guys put kids in the back seat? I'm still try to convince my wife on the 911, but she think I will only drive it alone...(not a bad idea, huh?)
Thanks

Forward facing the Britax models fit. Britax actually makes the booster seat for porsche. I have a 6 mo old and a 3 yr old who ride with me all the time.

My 2 year old rides with me all the time.

I use the Britax Roundabout forward facing in the rear seat. It does require that you keep the passenger seat a little bit forward, which works fine for us since my wife is, shall we say, vertically challenged.

I did try one of our Britax Marathons once and that also fits, but it's tight up top. It barely clears the rear glass, especially if you keep the top tether tight. It just doesn't look as nice in there as the Roundabout. So I'll wait til he outgrows the Roundabout.

nova996,

Where do you attach the tethers on the 996? I did not realize I could use the car seat tethers.

Thanks.

Terry.

It's only the top tether.

Behind the seat, there is a cutout in the carpet (at least on my 03) If you cut the little tab of carpet that is still attached on the cutout, and then fold the cutout up, you'll see the attachment point.

Let me know if you don't see it, I can take a pic.

I have the front car seat right now. It actually will work in the back seat as well, but is a pain in the **** to get in and out if you do.

I have to post a pic since I'm such a proud daddy.

Sorry if the pics are large, but I can't stop myself from posting them. hehehe
