Sell now! You´ve answered the question yourself. C4S is not the car for you.

Ps. Cold Air Kit coming my way today. Waiting for FedEx (Santa) like a little boy... :-)

Just the simple version from Fabspeed. Maybe a little too simple, it seems now. The "muffler block off cap" that comes with the kit didn´t seal properly in the air box lid. I had to come up with a seal myself. As was, it leaked and allowed unfiltered air into the "clean side" of the air box - and the engine...
Also, what Fabspeed calls a "Carbon muffler block of cap" is just i piece of cheap plastic with a fake CF-pattern paint on it.
I know the choice of material doesn´t affect function here (CF wouldn´t have made it fit anyway...), but false marketing bothers me. I hadn´t expected that from Fabspeed. I´m very happy with their mufflers.

As for performance gains, its too early to tell. Just a few miles last night without even getting up to real temperature. The ECU needs time to adjust properly anyway.
All the kit does is eliminate an intake resonance box located inside the air box. It doesn´t really supply any "cold air" that wasn´t there before. So I don´t expect much, if anything. It looks like the elimination of the resonance box inside the air box may give better flow at high rpm´s. But only if this section is the bottleneck of the stock system. The loss of the resonance box on the intake side can actually lead to a loss of performance at some rpm´s... We´ll see.

Some added induction noice can be heard, wich is why i bough the thing in the first place.
Hmm...

If you have a solid offer at 68 I would take that and run, I have seen other sub 10K mile C4S's for a lot less.

My friend sold his with 9k miles on it for 62k after a long time. Take the 68 and don't look back.
FWIW, mine has 50k miles( was offered 55k for it recently) and I drive it daily in probably worse traffic, you gotta drive these cars, who are you saving it for, the next dude?
