Next ? I got quoted $160 for a full oil change from a local porsche shop,does that sounds about right ? From a dealer, yes......maybe even a cheaper than normal quote.

My inde mechanic says if you only want the engine to last 100K miles do what Porsche (or BMW or Merc) recommends. If you want to put over 200K miles on the engine do it every 5K miles or once a year. BTW he has a 1988 911 with over 250K miles, puts it on the track 8 weekends a year and has not had to do an engine rebuild!
