20% tint.. .. can see very well out the windows at night. 20% is not legal here. but it helps w/ the 95 plus degrees in the summer.

I have 50% Huper Optik Ceramic Tint on mine. Cuts down the glare and it's very easy to see out. I went with a light 50% becaues in CA it is illegal to tint the driver and passenger windows. In the day time you can see a hint of tint and at night it darker.

Kirby,
Your tint looks so nice that I Called Huper Optik and found a installer 70 miles away in Westport Ma that does their tint. I'm going to setup an appointment with them to do my Cab. They told me In Mass, I can go with 40% and still be legal. Have you seen 40% ? Is it much darker than your 50% ??

Don - This might work for you also.

Not to be a smart *** but 40% is 10% darker than mine, haha, just messin. 40% will be slightly darker, you'll probably notice the difference easily.

I would have went darker if the law allowed. Already 50% on the front windows is illegal. 40% should look really nice! I'm sure the shop will have some samples that you can look at, you might even consider darker if it looks good to you. Actaully since you have a black car even 50% might look darker. For some reason dark cars make the tint look darker.

Good luck!

Because you have black interior, tint will look darker from the outside (5-10% darker) I agree that 35% will be the way to go. i've had this on the front of cars before, and it works great for me. I was never pulled over for it either.

Dave - you can even go up to 35% in MA which would be the legal limit...I have it on my car and never had problems...
