Arling,
Thanks for jumping in. Just need help on which route we should take. The guys want to do more of a sprint this time. So trying to figure out a fun route and lunch spot that can accomodate all of us.

Ok,
if we want to meet at Crystal cove, we have to get a very early start so we can be there by 7:00 sharp (Sandoval need your input here). Is that early enough to accomodate about 25 cars?
If we are all willing to do so then that can be the main meeting point. If we dont get there in time then there will be no up front parking and it kinda defeats the purpose of going there. That means all of us will be on the road by 6:00. If thats too early, then we can select an alternate meeting point. So what is everyone's input on the time?
If thats cool with everyone, my suggestion for a route would be as follows:
from Crystal Cove
South on PCH to Laguna
North on 133 (mini canyon run) to the 405 South (freeway sprint)
Exit El toro and travel north on El Toro (canyon run)
End up on Katella and travel toward the Block.
Lunch at "The Block" (sports bar to watch March Madness)
ending at the block is kinda neutral for both LA guys and OC guys. From there the LA guys can head home.

I know Arling went through such a great effort organizing the LA meet. So if I can be of any help, I'd be happy to offer it.
Everybody please remember roads like PCH are swarming with cops so sprints like the ones exercised on Westchester Blvd may result not so favorably. Perhaps Newpot Center Drive would be an alternative?
For people coming down from LA, a better, more centralized option may be somewhere in the Cerritos area. I'm sure Joe (barebones) can think of a good open space to meet up since that is his neck of the woods. Just a couple of suggestions....
