Very disappointed with Evolution Motorsports!
I ordered a Fabspeed exhaust from Evo last Monday, thru Mike.
I called him back on Tuesday and he said that it was sent to me directly from Fabspeed on Monday, when I placed the order. Therefore, I should receive it on Friday.
I called again on Wednesday and spoke to "Jordan" for the tracking no., and he said that Fabspeed had never sent it Monday. But, I told him that I spoke to Mike and he said that it was sent Monday, not true! Anyway, he said that he would call Fabspeed to straighten it out that day. Well, he called me back that day, and said that Fabspeed will send it that day (Wednesday) for the 2nd day delivery free of charge, due to their mistakes! I explained to Jordan that a buddy of mine from Houston is coming Friday afternoon to help me install the exhaust, so he can hear it and see if he would want it on his car as well. Keep in mind that my buddy lives 3 hours from me.
I called the following morning (Thursday) to get the tracking no. from Jordan for Friday's delivery, Jordan said that he will call Fabspeed for it and will call me back. Well guess what? He never called back, therefore I called him back again in the afternoon. He said that Fabspeed never called him back, and they're already close for the day and there's nothing he can do. And, he said that he would call Friday.
Friday came, and guess what? The scheduled delivery is on March 3, and he lied about it being sent Wednesday on a 2nd day delivery! I suggested that he calls UPS and makes sure that it gets delivered the following day (Saturday), because my buddy is coming from Houston today, which is a 3 hours drive to help me install it! Anyway, he calls me back later that day and said that he called UPS and made the arragements and made sure that it was coming the following day (Saturday). Although, I was disappointed of not receiving it on Friday, I was somewhat relieved that my buddy will be able to hear this exhaust on Saturday, and driving 3 hours for nothing.
Yes, Saturday came and we waited all day for the delivery as promised "AGAIN" by Jordan from "EVO"! I called UPS to get some idea about the delivery that day. Guess what? JORDAN FROM "EVO" LIED AGAIN, HE NEVER CALLED UPS AND MADE SURE IT WAS DELIVERED SATURDAY! IT'S STILL SCHEDULED TO BE DELILVERED ON MARCH 3! I was so embarrass that my buddy from Houston had to drive 3 hours for nothing. I just wish people can be more considerate and be more understanding of other people's situations.
I was going to order the Suspension, Techart body kit and get my car Supercharged next month thru EVO. But, given Todd's employees incompetence, I would have to go elsewhere. I'm very disappointed because I have heard nothing but good things from EVO, especially Todd.
I'm sorry for the long post, but had to vent out. Thanks for reading my long post. Have a good day.

It sounds like a problem with the communication between the manufacturer and distributor. That sucks you had a bad experience I would give Todd a call personally on Monday (If he does not call you first) As others have said He is a great guy, My experience with him has been 1005 satisfactory, he has always gotten my parts out quickly. About Two years ago I ordered an exhaust for my 968, he had it at my door step 2 days later. I was blown away. I think it is not necessarily the employee’s fault that they could not get the manufacturer to drop ship properly. Also if Evo was not the party that sent the package via UPS, then UPS can't really do anything for them. I also don't think UPS will change the shipping type while the package is in transit. So Jordan may have called but UPS does not record that information. Calling this person a liar is not really fair. I don't know the whole story but I would talk to Todd and find out where the miscommunication went sideways.
Just my .02 I have only dealt with Todd at Evo in several occasions and all of them have been perfect.

Re: Very disappointed with Evolution Motorsports!
I AM SORRY, BUT DON'T SOUND LIKE IT'S EVO'S FAULT. SOUND LIKE IT'S FABSPEED'S FAULT. FABSPEED IS THE SHIPPER, THERE IS NO WAY EVO CAN CALL UPS AND CHANGE ANYTHING, THEY'RE NOT THE SHIPPER NOR THE RECEIVER. THEY'RE JUST TELLING YOU WHAT FABSPEED TELL THEM.

I concur with the others as I have had nothign but positive experiences with Evo. I think it was problem with logistics and communication between Evo and Fabspeed. Sorry to hear of your poor experience but do not let it get you down on the exhaust!

In reference to your recent post, I would like to sincerely apologize for you not receiving your 996 FabSpeed Exhaust within the time frame it was supposed to be delivered to you. As many of the 6Speeders Online have attested, EVO, does not purposefully operate through being dishonest. I understand your frustration and how disappointed you were that you were not able to enjoy your car and share the experience with your friend who went out of his way to help you.
As you may be aware, unforseen circumstances arise daily in any business and in any industry. I certainly understand from your perspective how it appears that you were lied to. Again, I apologze for the outcome, however, I believe this situation was a matter of circumnstance and a miscommunication between EVO and FabSpeed. Just as you rely on us and put your faith in us to deliver you your products, we too rely upon our manufacturers and but our faith in them. I am not certain where the communication breakdown occurred, but I do take full responsibility for you as my customer not being satisfied.
Evo has had a longstanding relationship with FabSpeed and this particular situation will be addressed by both companies to work towards this not happening again.
In reference to Jordan Miller, Jordan is a longtime EVO employee and has helped to grow our business and develop our relationships. Again, through a matter of circumstance, he too was caught on the losing side, just as you were. Jordan is an outstanding, hardworking, honest Evo employee and a valuable asset. Similarly, Mike Myers has significantly contributed to EVO.
I do apologize on behalf of EVO, Jordan and Mike. I very much appreciate your candid, honest feedback regarding your experience. I value all opinions regarding EVO, whether it is positive or negative. The time you spent sharing you expereince on this board helps me to better learn what is working and what is not working. Consequently, I am able to make the necessary changes within the company to better serve you and other Porsche enthusiasts. I very much appreciate the feedback from everyone who responded to this thread, as you all keep me striving to meet your performance needs.
I will contact you Monday morning to discuss and determine how EVO can make this up to you and your friend.
Sincerely,
Todd Zuccone

Everyone makes mistakes. I can accept them when they are properly dealt with and I have the feeling Todd is going to take care of you. Sorry to hear about your frustration but once your past it, I hope you enjoy your mods!
Thanks Todd, if there were more stand up guys like you, I'd have a lot more competition.

Todd, your reply is very sincere and apology is accepted. I also employ staff, and unfortunately I'm also fully responsible of their actions. As I stated before, I have heard nothing but good things about you. This is the reason I chose to order the exhaust thru you, and hoping to develop a good relationship thru your company.
Jordan should have made sure that the exhaust had been shipped by Fabspeed, by getting the tracking no., especially when mistakes have been made 3 times.
I called Fabspeed and spoke to Alex, and I was told by him that Jordan was explained that the exhaust will not be delivered until March 3. This is the reason that I called him a liar! He should have been honest to tell me that, instead of making me believe that my exhaust will be received by Friday/Saturday.
Thanks for everyone's input.
