Thumbs up Pic: Seal grey C4S w/bronze Volk TE-37s

finally had the opportunity to snap a shot of my neighbor's car. He wasn't home and his detailer was cleaning up the cars in the front yard so I saw the car on my way home and decided to snap a shot after I drove past. I think it looks awesome...

No offense, and its your neighbors car, they are not my taste, but I can tell you there are any number of 350Z's, Supras, etc... that would jack those Volks in a New York minute.

I think it looks good, main reason I posted was because I had mentioned this car before and I got a good amount of interest through PM and replies. It looks really good in person, definately a healthy departure from your run-of-the-mill HREs that everyone has.

Suspension is JIC Magic. The wheels are 18s, but I'm not sure what the tire size is.

Isn't they're the lightest wheel for Porsche?

The wheel looks good, but bronze just doesn't go with SG, it's strange bc SG has a warm tone to it too. Gunmetal or Silver will look much better IMO.

It seems like they'd be a good choice for a track wheel. Not too expensive and you don't have to baby them. I see the number on the side of the car so maybe that's what he's doing with them.

To be honest I'm considering trading my cab for a 996tt and I would be looking for a very inexpensive set of wheels to use at the track.

It's all relative, out here a lot of souped up european and japanese cars have HREs, and with the prices coming down to "reasonable" for the average buyer on the more traditional models you see plenty of cars in/around L.A. with HREs. Not saying they aren't nice wheels, but they're becoming very commonplace on modified cars.

You know Gary is a big guy and he just spent a lot of money on some new HRE's. Those are fighting words to him.
